Posted - Oct 20 2009 : 5:59:45 PM It's 'French Apple' and I don' know the difference between it and a regular pie but it sure tasted good.
It's the first apple pie I've ever made in my entire life! From the apple trees in our yard!!
Hubby picked 80 lbs of apples just from one tree alone, the first 3 feet worth! No telling how many more are up there! Got pretty much all the apples from the other tree.
I have to get an apple peeler cuz my hands hurt to peel. I'm also making oodles of applesauce too. I've found it tastes better after it's been in the fridge for a while, like a day or so. Yummmy!!
