Posted - Oct 08 2009 : 3:01:44 PM I made the crackers from the Oct/Nov issue and they turned out delicious! I used a dried herbal blend for flavor and whole wheat flour. Couldn't resist using my forest animal cookie cutters. What is tastier than a cracker shaped like a slug or a porcupine? :-)

I made the tamari and pumpkin seed, except I used soy sauce instead of tamari. They are delicious and its hard to eat just one!

Posted - Oct 09 2009 : 6:40:45 PM Great crackers Kimberley Ann. I collect cookie cutters and use them for all sorts of things. Use them for pita breads too. I call them "critters". Cutters are great with cheese, bread and chill-over too.

Posted - Oct 09 2009 : 11:06:58 AM Thanks! I found the cookie cutter set at my local Ikea store, of all places. Next time, I'll definitely try the pizza cutter for a quicker way to make them.

Posted - Oct 09 2009 : 11:01:19 AM I want a slug!!! I make these crackers all the time, and I short cut I find very helpful is that I use a pizza cutter to cut the cracker dough. They don't come out looking like animals bet it's quick and easy!! Where did you get the snail cookie cutter? Too cute, Carol
