How early do you start baking for christmas? Is it too early yet?

I've not found a cookie dough that does not freeze well yet. Just don't forget to write what kind it is on the wrap or on freezer tape. If it is one I want for when company drops in like Toll House Chocolate Chips, I also put the oven temp and how many minutes to bake. They will know your the hostess with the mostess when you offer up fresh bakes in minutes. LOL

I also have made alot of different kinds of cookie dough wrapped them in a log shape to freeze. I bake up alot of cookies during the holidays starting in the fall I just make up the dough freese and thaw then shape and bake.

I'm certainly baking already but it's more of trial runs; Nothing I'm keeping for Christmas. I have a bunch of new recipes that I'd like to use this holiday but, IMO, a trial run is always good before you give baked goods away! Ya know, just to make sure it doesn't taste like a dog biscut! ;)

Not if it's cookie dough. I am already filling my freezer with assorted dough rolled into a log and rolled in plastic wrap so when Dec. gets here I can start making cookies. I give out lots of cookies during the holiday month.
