Posted - Sep 06 2009 : 05:31:35 AM My mom, my aunt and my Nana always went to the farmer's market and bought bushels of green peppers. They would go to one house, and can all those peppers, then split up the jars! These are pickled peppers, so easy and so good, I am the only one in the family now to make them, and let me tell you when my cousins know I have some they would do just about anything to have some, lol!!! ![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif) I don't like pickles very much, but love these!!! This year I did all my banana peppers this way too. Wash, seed and slice green peppers. Pack into hot canning jars. Bring to just boiling: 2 quarts Apple Cider Vinegar 1 quart water 1/2 cup table salt Pour over peppers, put lids and rings on jars, then turn upside down. Let sit over night, then turn right side up. These need to sit at least 2 weeks before eating.
