That's great - thanks for sharing this. I was just canning yesterday - I always forget that pressure canning is really easy, just a matter of following directions. I would love the swiss steak sauce recipe too!!

Thank you - I love creative canning. I always double or triple my chili con carne recipe when I make it. Then I can quarts of what we will not eat after a couple of meals. That way I always have home-made on hand and it is so much better than store-bought. Next time I am going to do some in pints for use in tacos, etc. instead of using store-bought. I also have a great swiss steak sauce recipe if anyone is interested. It was given to me by a friend of my husbands who is a wonder chef that cans.
