Posted - Jul 30 2009 : 05:09:07 AM I have not done goat cheese, but make cheese from my cows milk. I would suggest a good book. I have two, "Goats Produce Too", I think is the name of my first one. Then a Ricki Carroll cheese making book. Making cheese is very simple, just is time consuming. Takes about 4 to 4 1/2 hours to make a batch of pressed colby. But in my opinion it is so much better then boughten!
Good luck Michele |
