Hello - I spent the morning at a u-pick farm and came home with loads of blueberries and blackberries. I plan to make syrup with some, but would love a great pie filling recipe for both berries (to can). Please post your favorite recipes. I will need them asap as I do not plan to freeze any. My freezer went out last week.

I just freeze my blackberries and then thaw them when I want to make pie so I'm no help there. Sorry. I found this recipe though for blueberries a while back and bookmarked it to use in the future. http://www.pickyourown.org/blueberrypiefilling.htm I wish that I had tried it to give you a review but I haven't yet. Sorry! :)
