DD and I decided to make cookies today. Well, I guess they're not REALLY cookies as they have no flour in them. The recipe came from a friend of dd in Sweden and they are called chokladbiskvi - loosely translates to Chocolate Butter Cream Macaroons.

Since I'm renovating the kitchen, we are without a stove right now and learning to use the grill in really creative ways. They came out heavenly. Here's a pic so you all can drool! Anyway, proves you can do anything on a grill...at least so far!

It is always fun coming up with new ways to cook, when you don't have a stove. I had never tried cookies on the grill though. I agree with the comment about dutch oven cooking. Seems things taste better when cooked outside as well.

Those cookies look fantastic! How fun to try these new recipes on the grill. Another favorite of mine, is dutch oven cooking. So easy, and all outside.

Wow! That's so cool! How were they taste wise? Could you post the recipe?

Starbucks and sushi to green fried tomatoes and corn pudding-I wouldn't change it for the world.
