Posted - Jul 19 2009 : 10:09:01 PM DD and I decided to make cookies today. Well, I guess they're not REALLY cookies as they have no flour in them. The recipe came from a friend of dd in Sweden and they are called chokladbiskvi - loosely translates to Chocolate Butter Cream Macaroons.
Since I'm renovating the kitchen, we are without a stove right now and learning to use the grill in really creative ways. They came out heavenly. Here's a pic so you all can drool! Anyway, proves you can do anything on a grill...at least so far!

Posted - Jul 21 2009 : 03:51:29 AM It is always fun coming up with new ways to cook, when you don't have a stove. I had never tried cookies on the grill though. I agree with the comment about dutch oven cooking. Seems things taste better when cooked outside as well.
