Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 7:26:58 PM I decided today was going to be a clean out the freezer/fridge/cupboard day, and somehow that evolved into a huge cooking day. Here's what I cooked today and packaged as instant dinners for the freezer:
1 qt. sloppy Joe sauce 11 stuffed peppers 2 hamburger casseroles 4 qt. chili 2 dishes of black beans and rice for tacos, etc. 1 9" brocolli quiche 1/2 gallon of beef broth from bones
Now to clean the kitchen if I have any energy left! Do you ever do this - cook all day when you don't really intend to?

Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 8:56:17 PM I just love days like that....so nice to pull a dinner out of the oven...heat and eat wholesome homecooked food in alot less time. I do that as often as I can!

Posted - Jun 26 2009 : 7:49:13 PM Well , I looked in my fridge and theres nothing. I do all of the cooking for us here and its been hot so I haven't cooked much. We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for supper. Your choices sound so much better than ours, can I come raid your freezer. |
