I am fairly new here, and am SO enjoying reading all of the wonderful posts here!

Thought you gals might enjoy my recipe for Calico Beans...great for making a big batch and freezing some for later! So handy to have them in there to pull out to go with a bbq meal or cornbread and a salad!

Just added the recipe to my blog at www.RubyJunes.com

Enjoy!

Thanks for this! We are trying to be soooo frugal because we've had some major repairs lately, and this recipe sounds right up my husband's alley (this and beans and weenie casserole...no joke).

you're welcome, Jodi!

sure, add me to your list! Thanks! I'm just getting into the swing of blogging regularly...trying to be more disciplined in that area.

Thanks, June! I'm just starting the blogging thing (well, I guess a few months has flown by, but it's just starting to be a regular habit, lol)... do you mind if I put you on my list of blogs I follow?? :)

Ooh, those sound so yummy, June! Thanks for sharing your recipe!! I love your blog...the link to the pretzel recipe has me excited to get in the kitchen and try those, too, lol (bad combination of a love for cooking and being currently hungry...everything sounds like it must be tried NOW, lol).
