Posted - Apr 17 2009 : 8:15:50 PM Cheryl I was born and raised in Yakima. We lived on 3rd Ave near Hoover School. My parents are still in the same old farmhouse. I'm in West Valley now, out past Wiley City. We wanted to raise our boys in the country and have horses, goats, dogs and raise a little hay. I don't think I can ever move back to town. Everyone loved the cheese at school and wanted the recipes. I like the idea of salmon and dill or maybe smoked steelhead and capers. Or fresh raspberries and honey. Or Or Or too many possibilities. LOL Where were you raised? Which schools did you attend? Mary

Posted - Apr 16 2009 : 9:22:34 PM Cherly I hadn't thought about stuffing chicken breast with the cheese. Think I'll try that this weekend. I made another really good combination of salt, pepper, chopped capers, green olives and a horseradish sauce. Good fresh but awesome day 2. It mellows out. I'm making two batches tonight for a celebration at my school tomorrow, walnut cranberry and the olive caper. They loved the samples I took in this week. I want to try goat milk sometime soon. Mary

I will make a savory one tomorrow.. Tonight I split a chicken breast and stuffed it with the craisins cheese mixture and drizzled honey over the chicken sprinkled top with finely chopped pecans and baked in 350 oven for 30 minutes.. You gotta try it FABULOUS~

Posted - Apr 11 2009 : 4:12:01 PM I just finished my first batch. After it finishes draining I'm making garlic and dill, and cranberry pecan. I hadn't thought about honey so I think I'll add a touch with the cranberries. Michele thanks for the idea. Mary
