Posted - Apr 06 2009 : 12:21:17 PM I wanted to inspire Farmgirls to plant winter greens. Everything in this bowl survived a hard cold winter under snow. It is still freezing temps over night here. So, please, Don't get mad, get even!
Best, Heide

Posted - Apr 05 2009 : 04:59:30 AM I love, love, love the pansies and violets in the salad! Beautiful! I hope they taste as good as they look! This reminds me of something that I saw in Victoria magazine years ago. They had nasturtiums in theirs and I vowed to grow some and eat them too but never have. Thanks for jogging my memory!

Pictured is red leaf lettuce, dandilion greens, beet greens, radish greens, snap pea greens, chives, catnip, thyme, pansys and violets. I hope it cures my SPRING FEVER!
