Thanks to Cindylou's help, Mr. Tig & I had our first bakeover tonight.
Rave reviews!

I used the orange/walnut scone mix, and for filling: chopped unpeeled apples, frozen cranberries & blueberries & a handful of pecans.Since I don't have an official bakeover pan yet, I used a pie pan for the baking part. Worked great.

Oh my gosh, this was good! There's a bit left to share w/our computer farmgirl friend when she comes over tomorrow.

Love, Sara

Connio,

I love Susan Wittig Albert's books. Didn't know about the Beatrix Potter series! Will check at the library.

Hey Farm Girls

Mandy If you like Beatrix Potter, you should check out a new mystery series that features Beatrix as the maain character. There are 2 of them at this point. The author is a wonderful Texas farmgirl named Susan Wittig Albert.

Mrs Tiggywinkle! I love your user-name!!! I read little Beatrix Potter books from the local library continuously as a little girl, and the sight of anything BP brings a huge smile to my face. It's crazy how much BP merchandise is available here that we didn't have back home - I can't stop collecting! Anyway, congrats on the bakeover! and happy farmgirling...
