Hello - I just joined this forum 2 days ago. I have spent every spare minute reading all of the posts that pique my interest (there have been many). So I figured with the collective knowledge and experience in this group, I could get a little help. I have a Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker, both my husband and I are diabetic, so I try to keep our carbs and fat low. The raspberry sorbet in the most recent issue was awesome. Anyone have any good sorbet, frozen yogurt or ice cream recipes that would fit my needs? I appreciate any and all recipes and hints. Thank you in advance.

Hey Gail!!
I got the Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker for Christmas and love it! Our family of 3 are ice cream addicts! That being said, we make our no fat version using 2 cups of no-fat half and half, 1 cup skim milk 3/4 cup sugar and a splash of vanilla nut flavoring. I have not experimented with swapping out sugar for an alternative yet. We have also made ice cream using just 3 cups of skim milk. We were desperate for some and we were out of the half and half. It was fine as "ice milk" as my grandparents used to call it!

Welcome to the group, by the way! There are some incredible women around here!!
