Check out my blog for pictures and the recipe for my favorite cookie which is Peanut Butter and a great "crispy" cookie. I think you can safely buy peanut butter especially the major brands like Jiffy and Peter Pan and Skippy, now. I had Jiffy and I'm still here today and feeling GREAT!!!!
What is YOUR favorite cookie recipe...is it crispy or soft (I love crispy cookies which are hard to find recipes for anymore). Are there any special memories attached to your favorite cookie?

Hey, Maryjane....maybe we can exchange recipes since I find it difficult to find "crispy" recipes. I have one I'll send you that is pretty crispy...oatmeal with sunflower seeds (without the hulls, of course). I was trying to imitate a cookie my daughter brought me from a natural food store that was the best "store bought" cookie I ever had. I came pretty close on my first try but next time less oats and more sunflowers. I have also added grapenuts to several recipes to get them "crunchy".
Glad to find someone else who appreciates the finer things in life!
