Posted - Feb 05 2009 : 09:28:05 AM After taking two cups from the mother saturday and giving her a day of rest, do we start again monday with 1/3 cup flour and 1/4 cup water again. Or should SAunday be started with 2 cups flour and 1 1/2 cup water?
Thanks in advance!!

Just feed it the 1/3 cup flour and 1/4 cup water starting on Sunday. I am halfway into week 2 and it is looking good.....much better than it did the first week.

Posted - Feb 05 2009 : 10:08:25 AM I would say start back up on Sunday since you aren't adding anything on Saturday, that's mothers day of rest. You will feed on Sunday and going forward until the day to make bread. Hope this helps!
