Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 07:44:42 AM I love a nice cup of tea after lunch. I even got my 23 year old son hooked on tea. Has anyone tried a new product call "teeccino" yet? It is suppose to be naturally caffeine free and a probotic too. I requested a free sample and I'm curious to see how it tastes.

Posted - Jan 26 2009 : 05:52:27 AM Cheryl, years ago when my 3 kids were little I read somewhere (Simple Abundance, I think) to find little ways to treat yourself. I began drinking my iced tea out of a crystal water goblet and my hot tea in one of my good china cups and saucers. I have done that ever since! It does make the moment more for "me" than just chugging down a drink!

Posted - Jan 24 2009 : 7:25:39 PM Cheryl, that is a beautiful teapot and cup. It would make anyone's blues go away. Everyone should have tea in such a cup, just because. Just be careful!

Posted - Jan 24 2009 : 4:16:11 PM Diana, they are kinda dainty.. and I am really Not a dainty type person. I remember while in the China shop I had to be very careful so I didn't accidently knock anything off the shelves.. Kinda made me nervous amongst all that glass...other "pretties" (sometimes you just can't take me anywhere...ha!)

Posted - Jan 24 2009 : 10:31:12 AM Cheryl-I have that exact same china! I fell in love with the pattern many years ago, and would buy pieces a bit at a time as I could afford it. I always waited for when the store got a big sale on it. I really should get mine out and use it more. It's been packed away for eons, since I don't have a china cabinet or dining room.

Posted - Jan 24 2009 : 09:36:35 AM Cheryl, love your tea cup and pot. I am the only one around here that drinks coffee and tea from a cup/saucer. Not a mug person. I "usta" have a lovely set of tea cups/saucers but they went to the garage sale several years ago while downsizing. Now I use the cups and saucers that came with the set of corell. Downsizing, don't ya hate it? |
