I'm sure this is not new to many but last night blended some mostly-frozen bananas and yogurt for the kids (and well me too). Was very good. In the summer I also do a blend of frozen melon or frozen berries for a sherbet type desert.

I do a frozen banana smoothie a lot! I just peel super ripe bananas and stick them in a freezer bag and into the freezer they go! if you freeze them on like a cookie sheet first then put them in the bag they won't stick together. And if you are really nice to your blender you can pre-slice the bananas before freezing. Yum!
