Suddenly, for no apparent reason, our double sink developed a crack in the large bowl. Of course, queries to the rest of my household brought "I don't know" and "Wow! How'd that happen". And indeed, we couldn't figure it out. After searching on the internet, we discovered that the darn thing would probably cost about $450 to replace with a similar model. Our house is a relatively new home and we are the first owners, and I'm sure the contractor didn't pay THAT price. It's a Moen sink so I went right to their website to search. Of course they don't make the model of our sink any more and I was willing to replace it with just an aluminum model which was about half the cost of the one we have now and I could get it from Lowes/Home Depot. But I went ahead and emailed their customer service and they had us send pics of the crack and what not. Well after about a month of having to wash dishes in the small half of the sink and a tub, the new sink arrived yesterday....Ok it was about 2 weeks later than promised...but it was NO COST to us! They replaced the sink with their newer model in that line without a receipt, just the pics! Cool eh?

you know how great that "good will" will go for them?? hey, i'm impressed with hearing that story and if i need a sink of plumbing fixtures, i'd most likely choose them!! actually, we are still considering/looking into buying property and building a home.....and again, I would buy their products having heard that story. good for you that you thought to contact them and send them pictures..... enjoy your new sink!!

Moen is an excellent company with top-of-the-line products. They are spendy but, I have found that as far as plumbing fixtures are concerned, you get what you pay for. It does surprise me that they replaced it without out a reciept, though. That is incredibly nice of them. That is the kind of customer service we're always hoping for but seldom get.
