Posted - Dec 02 2008 : 10:33:08 AM In a catalog which I got today they were selling smoked salmon canned in mason jars. Anyone know how to do this? My husband raises trout and so we occasionally have smoked trout around, but have to freeze it; canning sounds so much more convenient for using! Anyone know? Thanks! |

Posted - Dec 02 2008 : 12:48:28 PM Kristine, would you care to tell me how you can it? I've been canning for a few years, but have not yet tried fish. Thanks for the info! |
