I love the smell of my house after I've cooked a big meal. The way it just hangs in the air. In every room.

It's 8:30 and the house still smells like Thanksgiving. I love it. And in the mornig when I wake up, it will still be smelling this way. I just wish we could bottle the scent and keep it going all year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day with family and friends and the memories will last a lifetime. That's the best part, the memories, for me. That and the great leftovers!

Good night, all.

Kris

Me too..turkey and pumpkin pie are the best scents of all!!
I am still full from dinner and it was 6 hours ago..yum!! I look forward to a weekend of lovely leftovers!! My kids all helped with preparing the meal today (which didn't speed things up or make it any easier..but sure was fun!) so they are looking forward to the leftovers now too. I have so much to be thankful for this year!
