Morning Gals!

This is a typical stuffing recipe, however the only change is to add raw yellow squash to the mix before baking!! I tried it the other day while at work, and it was divine!! Something about the fresh "squeakyness" and delicious taste of squash in an already fabulous dish of stuffing.....MMM MMM GOOD!!!!

Just thought I'd share! I'd never had stuffing like that before! It going to be great this year!

They are, simply slice, thin, any kind of apple, then put in "real" butter, and apples, "fry" in a skillet till soft and add brown sugar....
One moment on my lips and its a lifetime on my hips,,LOL!!!!
Enjoy!!!

Mamma always made 2 different dressing recipes. One with osters (sp?). One year I ask her why she made the oster one and she said, Because we (her Daddy) always did. I reminded her that no one but Grandpa ate it.

But Oh how I love dressing. We always called it dressing. Like Teresa Sue said. Forget the potatoes, Just Dressing with gravy and a spoonful of cranberries.

Mom was a bit leary about the new addition to the "Family Stuffing Recipe", but I told her no worries......she will love it!

I always have cornbread dressing, all my kin are from the South and that's what I grew up on, I don't even bother eating the mashed potaoes and gravy! Just the cornbread dressing and gravy, mmmmmmmgood! Happy Thanksgiving.

Jamie, I always make a batch of stuffing in the summertime while the summer squash is on. I too, like the "squeakyness".
