Posted - Oct 31 2008 : 05:02:28 AM Another really good natural sweetener that does not affect blood sugar ins "Xylitol" you can read about it and check it out at: www.NaturesSunshine.com and click on "Products A-Z" and you will find it under "X". It is used measure for measure like sugar. Remember all Xylitol is not created equal. This product is from a very trusted co. in business for over 35 years. Their quality is very high and trusted. This product does not affect blood sugar and tastes just like sugar without all the calories. I've even turned it into brown sugar by mixing in a tsp. of molasses to a cup of it.

Posted - Oct 18 2008 : 2:04:18 PM Well, I made ginger syrup onc using Splenda and it settled on thh bottom of the jar. Not very appetizing looking and I had to shake it to disperse the sweetner. Don't know if that helps you or not.
