Hey guys! Recipe submissions have REALLY slowed down! Please help me out with this project and send in your best farmgirl fare!

Farmgirl Connection Cookbook Second Edition

We have gotten approval from the farm so the cookbook is officially underway. If you wish to submit recipes please read the directions carefully as this will help speed up the production of the cookbook.

To submit a recipe –

Please include your name as you would like it to appear in the book, Your MJF name and your hometown and state. Please keep in mind that this will be a published book and will be available to anyone wishing to purchase a copy so if you are concerned about using your last name DO NOT include it.

If you wish to include any information about where the recipe came from or why you like it, please do so.

Recipes should be typed in all the same size font. I will adjust later.

All measurements should use the American system of measurement.

Please indicate which section of the book you would like each recipe to be included in.

Recipes should be of a "farmgirl" nature avoiding box mixes and such whenever possible. (Unless it is a Budget Mix or Chill over recipe)

You may submit as many recipes as you like, however if I get too many or any duplicates I may not include all of the recipes submitted. I will do my best to let you know if for some reason I cannot include a recipe.

Please include an email address with your submission and I will send you a confirmation.

If you do not get a confirmation within 48 hours please contact me again.

Here are the categories!

1. APPETIZERS, BEVERAGES
2. SOUPS, SALADS
3. VEGETABLES
4. MAIN DISHES
5. BREADS, ROLLS
6. DESSERTS
7. MENUS
8. HOLIDAY FAVORITES
9. MISCELLANEOUS

I will accept recipes now through November 22. My goal is to have the cookbook ready around mid January or earlier if I don’t have to do a lot of editing. Right now we are looking at around 10.00 plus shipping for the books but I will know more when I get a final page count.

If you have any questions please ask!

Email recipes to artist @ willowtreecreek dot com (I’ve stretched this so I don’t get any bot emails. You will need to take out the spaces and the dot before emailing)

The Farmgirl Connection Cookbook Second Edition is now available!
I have two purchasing options available to you. All ordering will be done online. To access the books you will need to click on one of the two links below depending on your purchasing option.

Option 1: Black and White Coil Bound - $12.37 plus shipping
The first is the most economical choice. This is a 6x9 Coil bound cookbook. There are 131 pages of recipes and over 25 black and white photographs and drawings submitted by your farmgirl sisters.
http://www.lulu.com/content/6135441

Option 2: Full Color Coil Bound – $33.45
This book is identical to the first except that all pictures are in full color. There are approximately 25 color pictures plus additional drawings submitted by your farmgirl sisters. The cost for this book is so much higher because when you order color printing they assume all 131 pages are in full color. I did want to offer you the option because the photographs are beautiful.

http://www.lulu.com/content/6104190

I would like to offer a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this book! I HOPE I have not overlooked anyone or made any errors in this book. It was a labor of love at times but it was truly a joy putting it together. Thanks for allowing me this opportunity.

ENJOY AND HAPPY COOKING!!!

****A NOTE ABOUT PAYING WITH PAYPAL
If you choose Paypal as your payment option a new window will pop up allowing you to log into your paypal account. You MUST complete this step at this time or your order will not be completed.

Melanie, I think it's already gone off to the printer. Last I read, Julie was waiting for a proof before offering it for sale.

Hey guys! I have been SOOOOOO busy with stuff at work the last week and haven't given this project the time it deserves. I was able to get through a few emails last night and think I have 6 more to look at. I will do my BEST to put the "NEED" areas up here tonight. I cannot access my email at work so I can't use my "breaks" to look through the stuff. Bear with me! I am thinking off the top of my head that the Beverages and Appetizers area is one that is pretty skimpy and Vegetables is another. I'll look into the rest tonight!
