We picked blackberries from our backyard and made a pie!
Pie is so wonderfully easy to make, I just love it!
and while I was at it I made homemade crock pot chicken noodle soup (with a homemade chicken! and homemade noodles!)

I love blackberries! I would love a piece of that pie!

I add a shot of balsamic vinegar to my berry pie filling..any other vinegar will work though. Also extra lemon juice and the juice from an orange helps too! This always brightens the berries up when they are baking together! |

Ww picked tons of blackberies also but they don't seem to have much taste? Any suggestions when using them for a pie as to what to add to zap the taste a bit.
