Anyone have a juicer? Or had one and never used it?

I'd love to make pulpy juice at home.

I don't know what to look for.

Thanks!

My juicer is a Tefal. I have had it for about 17 years. I used it a lot when I first got it. Now I just use it once in a while. I used it the other day to make apple juice to put in my recipe for apple butter. One of our favorite juice combo was carrot, apple and garlic. I juiced some cranberries one time and had to add so much sugar that it didn't seem healthy. Should have used Splenda but I don't think it had been invented yet.

I have and use a steam juicer. It makes wonderfully clear juice. I got mine at a flea market, but brand new, I think they run about $120 - $180. I know there are other electric juicers out there but I've never used one and I really wanted one I could use anytime even if the power was out. But if that's not a concern for you, maybe one of the electric ones would work better for you. I've seen them on tv, but don't know if they work as well as they claim.
