OK..so I was baking this morning and tried this new banana bread recipe.

VERY moist but really yummy.
Banana Bread - 350 degrees - 1 hour bake
3-4 ripe bananas
1/3 c melted butter
1 c sugar(can reduce to 3/4c)
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
pinch salt
1 1/2c flour
(and I added 1 tsp cinnamon)
Mash bananas. Mix well w/melted butter.
Beat in sugar, egg, and vanilla
Sprinkle baking soda, salt, cinnamon over and stir.
Add flour last and mix well.
Pour into your greased loaf pan.
Bake at 350 for about an hour.
Cool and eat!

Then there were the cookies!

Chocolate Chip Cookies - 350 degrees - bake about 15mins
1 c butter - soft
1 c white sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp hot water
2 c flour
1 c oatmeal (finely ground in blender)
2 c's chocolate chips
1 c nuts (if desired)

Beat buter, sugars together.
Beat in 2 eggs; one at a time
Add vanilla, stir
Dissolve baking soda and salt in water, add, stir.
Mix in flour & oatmeal (can use just 3 c flour if you like)
Add chips/nuts stir.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for about 15 mins, cool, eat.

I'm at about 4 dozen right now on this recipe using a small melon ball scoop for the cookies. The first pan of cookies never made it to the cooling stage!

Both these recipes have been tried and deemed yummy by five 15 year old boys and one 8 year old just today! Easy-peasy! Enjoy!

The Banana Bread was wonderful! My husband loved it too! SO easy!
I also used brown sugar and it was great.

That's the good thing about these cookies...they are crispy outside but a little soft inside. I suppose you could bake them a tad longer and get the all-the-way-through crunch!

Wow...you've been busy! Everything looks delicious and I'm hungry! AR those "crispy" cookies or soft? I like crispy....in fact a little brown on the bottom is fine with me! Actually, my daughter sent me some chocolate chip cookies this week but the lid came off before they arrived and they were all soggy...SOOOOO....I put them on a cookie sheet and literally re-baked them at 350 for about 10-15 minutes and they came out crispy and fresh again. I put them in a lock'n'lock container with a few saltine crackers and they are just like new!
Thanks for the recipes and I will try and get some mnore pics and recipes on here too as I appreciate it when others do it!
Happy Friday!
