Every 4th of July I make my Red, White and Blueberry Dessert. This summer I'm going to work on remaking it using Chillover.
Here is the traditional recipe:

Red White and Blueberry

2 lg. boxes Raspberry Jell-O 1 c sugar
3 cups water 1 tsp. vanilla
1 envelope plain gelatin 8 oz cream cheese
1/2 c cold water 1 c chopped pecans or walnuts
1 c milk
1 can Blueberries

1st Layer: Dissolve 1 box of Jell-O in 2 cups HOT water. Pour into 9 X 13 inch pan (I use my glass Pyrex)put in refrigerator and let set.

2nd Layer: Dissolve plain gelatin in 1/2 c cold water. Heat milk and sugar. DO NOT BOIL. Mix into cold gelatin mixture. While still HOT mix in vanilla and cream cheese. Cool until it will not melt the raspberry layer. Pour carefully over the Raspberry layer. Refrigerate until set.

3rd Layer: Dissolve box of Jell-O in 1 cup HOT water. Stir well until dissolved. Sir in Blueberries juice and all. Cool until it will not melt the cream layer. Carefully pour over the cream layer. Put in refrigerator and let set.

Cut into squares and try to get a piece before its gone

The first attempt tasted good but did not serve pretty. A little runny on the blueberry layer and a little too set on the raspberry layer. The cream layer was good. So the change over continues. I used canned raspberries for the first layer so it was a very different texture. But even with all its little imperfections it was still delicious. I ate my share.

So, Mary, how'd it go? How did you convert it? It sounds so wonderfully fattening!
