How do I make fruit leather if I don't have those special tray liners for my dehydrator? And also, how long can it be stored? How do you like to package it? Thanks for the info! I'm looking for ways to use the fruit and save it for school lunches next year. thanks!

I do have the special fruit leather trays. I have heard though you can just line the trays with plastic wrap. The fruit leather trays aren't very expensive you could probably go to Amazon and get some fairly cheaply. They are very handy and make the job a lot easier.JoAnn
