I got the nicest little cookbook at the thrift the other day. "MISS MARY'S DOWN-HOME COOKING" Traditional recipes from Lynchburg Tennessee. This Miss Mary owned a boarding house there in 1908.

Hi Nancy! That cookbook should have some great recipes. I am not from Lynchburg, but I grew up about an hour from there and have been down there for a visit. It is a very neat little town with the Jack Daniels Distillery there and a square with a lot of antique shops. Miss Mary Bobo was famous for her noon meals at her boarding house. I have never been there but my mom went to lunch there a few times and said it was excellent.
