I made some yummy sourdough french bread today. Actually I mixed it up last night and set it to rise (which it stubbornly was refusing to to) and then forgot about it! So it rose nicely all night long. This morning I punched it down and popped it into the oven. It turned out beautifully with a lovely crust and warm fluffy insides! It's nicely dense and I am in heaven! Yumm. Theres nothing better than biting into a slice of warm fresh bread! I was so hungry- I had to have two :D

It's my baking day -- making fresh yeast risen cinnamon buns this morning. Guh!!!!!

My mother can't make it to the birth of this grandbaby (I'm due ANY SECOND) and I was moping about it because she always makes cinnamon rolls for me post-partum. But then I remembered that I know how to make cinnamon rolls so I started baking/freezing them for after the baby. Of course, only about half the batch ever makes it into the freezer ;)

Best,

Robin
