If you're like me, when it is time to bake you have to search for the ingredients. I always find myself twirling the lazy susan around and around to find the extracts, soda, salt, etc. Then I fish around the pantry looking for the flour and sugar, etc.

Today I decided to gather up all of my usual baking supplies and put them into a crate in the pantry. All of the extracts, a container of salt, baking soda and powder, and a few other things like an extra cinnamon, are in there. Now when I bake all I'll have to do is pull out the whole crate and the flour and sugar. And then, as I cook, I can just put everything back as I go. It was so simple, I don't know why I didn't do it before! Thought it might help other wayward bakers out there

Great idea Diane! I just moved from a house with a small kitchen-- I could turn around & reach everything-- and it was easy to locate & reach things. Now I'm in a bigger [and newer] kitchen, so am still feeling disorganized and not remembering where things are! So this might work for me! Thanks
