I am looking for a recipe for pear honey - it is a sort of jam or preserve that my grandpa's mother used to make. He grew up in Missouri so maybe someone with family from that area has an idea. I would really love to make some for him - he has never shared any memories from childhood with me until he told me about this
Thanks for reading!!

Karin,
Thank you so much - I checked out that website and I think one of those is probably what I am looking for. I tried googling it a while ago but didn't come up with anything useful - go figure!!
I will update this and let you know how it went over after pears are ripe
Happy day!!

Pear honey, sounds good. I have made apple honey before, which was a big hit as christmas gifts. I guess I will have to try the pear next.
