Posted - May 01 2008 : 7:08:56 PM I had a shelf in my fridge malfunction and one of my beautiful Chill-Overs slid out and hit the ground! It got dirt into it so I was going to toss it- then I realized the dog was looking at me as if to say "Oh! Let me have it! PLEASE!!"
So I tossed her bits and she ATE THEM! She was gobbling them down as fast as I tossed them to her! How funny is that! She was actually snatching them out of the air and gulping them down to make sure she was ready for the next toss (as if I wouldn't have waited!) It was as if she was relishing it as much as meat or maybe even more so! It was an orange juice chill-over. I don't sweeten mine much so it was tangy. I am surprised she ate it! Let alone LOVED it!

Posted - May 04 2008 : 11:48:39 AM mose loves figs!! we have a fig tree and when they are in season the birds snack on them all day. needless to say, the half eaten figs drop on the ground. mose sits there and stares at the tree all day until figs fall and then eats as many as he can..he loves them..lets not discuss what that does to his digestive system..yard clean up is not fun!! but the vet says they are good for him so..oh well...

Posted - May 04 2008 : 10:47:20 AM I'm amazed, but Harry seems to love the homemade granola I made last Sunday. At least it's good for him.

Posted - May 02 2008 : 07:50:06 AM Too bad about your Chillover. That's funny that the dog liked it. I suspect my Girlie Girl would eat one, too, as she's addicted to anything sweet. She even tries to like my face after I brush my teeth because I smell like something sweet!
