Thank you very much, I hadn't thought about applesauce, I have used that in place of oil before. I have been trying to stop using so much sugar and I have a good source of honey. Pam

Hey Pam,

I talked to my mum about that recipe, and she couldn't remember, since it's been so long since she's used it. However, she thinks you can substitute honey in any recipe, like, she suggested trying 1/2 cup of honey in place of, say, one cup of sugar, for example. I'm not sure if that would work, but it sounds like it would to me. Hope this helps a tad bit!

Hmm, my mum doesn't use sugar, and I know she has a banana bread recipe she likes. I'll call her and see if she uses honey in it. I have a hunch she uses applesauce in place of both sugar and oil, but I'll check for ya. :)
