Hello to all. I have been very busy the last couples of weeks. I have been shopping in my own attic and studio and I have found many treasures. I hope these post right this is a new camera new technology. I barely got the last one figured out. I still need to get the just right item to hang from the rolling pins. Still looking in the attic.

Thank you for the compliments. I collect stuff, rolling pins, linens, kitchenware, are a passion. OK I have to be honest anything old is a passion and thrift store and rummages a weakness. So I need a way to display a few of my favorites and I can only put so much in my display case and the window has been with out treatment. I needed to scale back on buying so off to my attic to shop. I have another set of pins if someone would like to trade for them. I also listed a few other items under Bater. I will be doing more shopping in my attic the next ten days as I am off of work and the weather is getting warmer. Thanks again.

That is the cutest thing I have seen lately! I love the way it looks in that window! Both look so good, and you could probably change it several other ways, too, by using vintage napkins and other pretties. Even pieces of quilts......Wow, that is cute!!!!!

Karin took the words right out of my mouth!! How did you come up with the rolling pins idea!! I love it. It is really a hard choice, that apron is just lovely and I love the tea towels too. I think I would have to vote for alternating them both. You are a very talented lady.

How on earth did you think of that?! So cute! I am a bit partial to the apron, but the towels are adorable too.

Betty Jo, These are both adorable! Two of the cutest window treatments I've seen ... ever. Thanks so much for sharing. Using the rolling pins for rods is so creative and adds a richness to the whole idea. It's amazing how changing even one thing in a room can give it a entirely new feel.

Sincerely,
Jana

I really like them both. You could leave the apron up for a while, and then change to the towels. what a cute idea!!!

what about taking that lace panel out..then using the apron to hang from your rolling pins... and then make a pair of panels using a color that you wish to pull from the apron colors..either a gingham type fabric or solid..then make two panels..and tie back to each side with a pretty ribbon bow and tuck a fake daisy or flower in a contrasting color in the tie back.
If you decide to go with the tea towels on the rolling pin..choose a contrasting color from the doilies..I see yellow and green..create panels in either a yellow gingham or a green gingham and do the same..tie back the panels and tuck a pink flower(to highlight that pink embroider) into the tie back. It will all add instant cheer to the kitchen.
have fun!
