Posted - Dec 03 2007 : 12:57:20 PM Ok, I have about 6lbs of frozen plums in my freezer, I was in a hurry and didn't have time to jam or can them so I washed/pitted & froze them... Now here is my question,,,any suggestions other than making freezer jam? I guess I could toss a few in the blender and make "plum juice" I would like to make a plum torte but I am not sure if the frozen plums would get to soggy after having been frozen. Any suggestions? hugz,

Posted - Dec 04 2007 : 11:12:06 AM I think it would be fine! It might not be as firm as fresh plums, but I have made cherry pies from frozen cherries and they turn out wonderful. Let them defrost first as a lot of juice is likely to come out. You don't want that in your torte! :D
