I'm in search of the new giant cupcake pan from Wilton, I've searched the site and it's not to be seen, was wondering if anyone has seen it or knows where I may find one? It was love at first site when I spotted it on a blog, but even the blog owner can't find it? I'll try to post a photo so you can see why I just got to have one!

Oh my goodness... I just bumped into this thread! I know the perfect recipient of one of these. My son-in-law! He is a cupcake lover, and it would be a great Christmas present!

I don't think he'd be reading posts on MJF, do you?

Deb! Did you know there are two Sur La Table stores in Chicago? According to their website, one is at 755 W North Ave (Lincoln Park Center) and one is at 52-54 E Walton. I've never been to either one . . . the one on Walton must be off Michigan Avenue and I may have to visit it when downtown for Christmas window-display-viewing.

Thanks for the info - I'm going to be downtown next weekend for Christmas window viewing myself. I see it's just about a block from the Hancock building.

How does the center of the cake get done when you bake it? I would think it wouldn't cook completely. The mold looks cool.

You may want to check with the Wilton store -- the brick and mortar store may have it in stock even if the online store does not.

I'm just fascinated by the cake, I must say!

Oh, and I love your little Singer Dorcas Society pic.

Katie-all, I hope to get this pan for Christmas, and once I do, I'll be posting pics on my blog of pratice cakes for sure! I so appreacite all the help in finding this thing, very odd that it can be found online and not at Wiltons? My best bet is Michael's but the nearest one is 2 hours away and were not planning a trip to the big city for a couple of weeks, but I'll be good and patient! lol Thanks again to all of you!

I know, but I can drive to the Wilton store. I have no clue where a Surlatable is. Trying to save some $ here. Also wondering why the mfg. wouldn't have it in stock but the other place does.

Oh thank you girls, you made my day!! My only outlet for such things is Walmart and I know they don't have it so I'll have to check with ebay and Michaels when we can get to the big city, I'm so excited you found it, I may put it on my Christmas list, if I can wait that long! This cupcake pan will be perfect for family birthdays! Thanks to all!!

I'm no fan of WalMart, but they carry "Texas" cupcake pans. I'm not sure if they're the size you need or not.

If you don't mind spending a little extra & you need one now... check ebay. I found several on there. This one ends today in a few hours.
