Posted - Nov 05 2007 : 11:32:41 AM Back a couple Months ago we had a Prissy Swap.. & our Dear Sweet Mima (Debi) was MY Partner!!
I couldn't have been more pleased since SHE is Such a little Pumpkin!
Well.. One of the many sweet little treasures that She tucked in My Prissy Package was a Pumpkin Muffin Mix! So i said i was going to wait until the "Fall" to bake them! I had my partner in Crime..my 9 year old neice Zoey over this weekend & we decided it was the perfect time to break out that muffin mix! Pulled out the package.. the eggs, the cooking oil.. I had Zoey chop up a cup of nuts to add to the mix.. I even had Cranberries to add to the batter!! But.. Mima..have you ever made this mix before yourself??? um.. It ALSO asks for a can of Pumpkin ..! Which believe it or Not!!I did NOT have in the Pantry!!! So.. We headed to the grocery store.. ANOTHER reason to shop as far as We were concerned!!! Picked up our 15 oz can of Pumpkin.. AND while we were there..we got the fixings for Rice Krispie Treats! AND This awesome little snack mix that Karin had made when we were there visiting her in Georgia! You mix GoldFish Crackers.. Candy Corn & peanuts all together.. As far as i am remembering..this was all that was in Karin's mix.. Such a yummy Snack.. & girls..it looks SO cute in a HUGE clear glass container for everyone to see! My kids all loved it this weekend!
So we made it home with all our fixins now.. Added Our Pumpkin mix..& put them in LARGE muffin tins.. MIMA!! What Delicious Muffins! They were SO great when we had them still hot dripping with melted butter!! & then i couldn't resist Smearing Cream Cheese over them too! We All LOVED the Muffin Mix!! REALLY such a sweet gift! Thanks again Mima!
& you'll all have to try Karin's mix..Such a neat fall treat!
