Good morning farmgals on this wonderful fall day! Okay, so it's rainy, windy and dreary here, I'm trying...!!
The publisher emailed me this morning and the books are ready..yippee! I do have company from out of town this week, but will pick them up in the next day or two and begin packaging and mailing them out asap.
There are still several people that haven't responded to my emails, so I am offering up the extra 17 books if anyone still wants one. First paid, first mailed out basis. 
Carrie, Mima and Donna...I will be emailing you as soon as I pick up the books and get them weighed.
So that's where it stands at the moment.

I think she's related to the clerk I had yesterday. She was looking up US postal rates and for the life of her couldn't find it. She found every country in the world, but there was no United States in the book. After about 15 minutes of bewilderment, I asked, "Hmmm...can I try?" "Sure" says an exasperated she. Turns out she was looking under "America".
Soooo anyway :) I have the first batch packaged and am going to venture out in this storm to the post office in town. Maybe I should phone first and see if they have power. Maybe I should quit talking to myself too...

I also mailed you a check last week. Kinda funny story = I was in Arizona and went to the post office to mail it because I wasn't sure about the postage to Canada so I asked the postal clerk "Is it extra postage to British Columbia?" and she said "Oh, yes. Just a minute and I'll see how much." so she walked over to the computer and stood there a minute and then turned to me and said "What country is British Columbia in?" Really struck me funny because I live in Washington - and have always been neighbors with BC. My DIL has been trying to get on at the post office for a couple of years and I KNOW she's smarter than that!!! Anyway, just wanted to make sure you got my check also. |

Angie - I haven't received it, but don't panic yet. Some are taking a couple weeks to arrive here it seems.
Mima and Daisy - I have emailed you, I hope it went through. Let me know if you didn't hear from me.

Diane. I sent my check on 10/13 I hope you get it soon. I just thought about something I just put on US stamp on it. Should I of put more on or is that going to be OK? I didn't think about it going to Canada!

Yes I did Meg, thanks! For some reason my emails that I have sent from here have not been received by the recipients.
I picked up the books this afternoon so will begin wrapping them tonite and get them in the mail asap. Barring anything unforeseen, I will get the first batch of them in the mail tomorrow.
