Does anyone have a recipe for freezing Asian Pears? Could I even make freezer jam from them? Thank you for the help.

I canned my pears..don't know if they were asian or not. but I peeled them, cored and sliced, added some lemon juice..oh..about 3 tablespoons or so..then added about 3 cups of splenda, about 4 tablespoons cinnamon and about 1 tablespoon ground cloves. (this was a large pot full of sliced pears ..I'd say about 20 pears sliced.
Cooked it down. Until pears were tender..about 40 minutes...or until pears were tender. Spooned into hot sterilized jars and processed in a boiling water bath for a full ten minutes.
I do keep them in my fridge in the door part even though they are canned, just to be safe.(yeah even though I know for certain the jars are sealed..call me a bit paranoid, but I'm still getting used to the canning thing..I enjoy it, but still trying to wrap my head around the fact that yeah the food is o.k. and totally sealed up tight..ha) I wound up with 4 larger jars and 2 small jars of pears.
We use this over things like pancakes/waffles and over icecream.
