I know it's supposed to be elderberries, but not being a real farmgirl, I've never seen an elderberry in my life.

I changed the recipe a little, baking it in an 8 X 8 dish and halving the topping proportions. (I mean, a whole cup of butter? Isn't that a bit much?)

I have never seen an elderberry either..maybe it is a regional thing?? Let us know how it turns out!!
