Boy am I grateful to have you ladies to bounce stories and ideas off.

A friend will be dropping off 5 gallons of grapes tomorrow for jelly making.

It's a little late now but i'm seriously thinginkg about getting one of those steam juicers. Around middle of November, i'll be in serious jam/jelly making mode for the holidays.

So far I've seen everything from the 139.00 jobs to a mere 69.00.

I have seen brief posts on the forum before but would like a refresher.

I desire a stainless model.

Anyone have experience with these?

I usually squeeze out many many gallons of fruit, so anything that can fit a good amound of fruit and do what it says will be worth my time.

Thanks

I LOVE my steam juicer..I have had it for two canning seasons now.Mine is an enamelware one..I wish it were stainless..but it works just fine..I am just very careful not to chip it. It saves so much time!!! I have used it for grapes, apples, tomatoes and cherries. I would totally recomend getting one.
