Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 2:57:25 PM We love to make homemade cheese ravioli, chop up some nice ripe tomatos and some fresh motzarella cheese and fresh basil or spinach (avoiding basil fresh now that I am pregnant) and toss it all with some pesto and maybe some capers or kalamata olives. LOVE IT! It is one of our number one meals here because it is just so good.

Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 10:26:09 AM Slice a big loaf of french or italian bread in half lengthwise. Spread pesto on one side and rOASTED GARLIC on the other. Put the two halves together and heat in the oven til warm. Slice and serve. Good but VERY garlicy. If your pesto is especially garlicy you may want to dot the other side with butter rather than roasted garlic.

Posted - Aug 21 2007 : 07:38:12 AM Is it store bought? I bet you can still freeze it in individual ice cube trays.
We use it as a sandwich spread--it's great on wraps. Also, how about getting lasagna noodles, spreading it on them, putting some ricotta and mozzarella and spinach, rolling them up and baking them with more cheese over the top?
