Remember this? You made it in the baking pan and as it baked, the chocolate pudding bubbled up through the chocolate cake and when you served it hot, it was like cake with pudding on top. Anyone have the recipe for this?

Here's a recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens red & white cookbook for Brownie Pudding Cake. I made it about once a week the first year we were married and still make it occasionally. It's a great last-minute dessert, as it uses things generally in the cupboard. Very easy and yummy!

Brownie Pudding Cake
1/2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
3Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 c milk
1Tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/3 c sugar
3/4 c boiling water

Stir together flour, the 1/4 c sugar, 1 Tbsp of the cocoa powder, and the baking powder. Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Stir till smooth. Transfer to 1 quart casserole dish. combine the 1/3 c sugar and remaining cocoa powder. Gradually stir in boiling water. Pour evenly over batter. bake in a 350 degree oven about 30 minutes or till a toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean. Serve warm. Makes 4 servings.

Hope that's what you're after! Enjoy!
