I use cardimon seeds to my husbands Grandmother's Finish coffee bread recipe. The little jars at the store are so expensive. My cousin was able to get me a pound at the co-op she orders from for a little more than what I pay for an ounce at the store. I just don't know the best way to store them.I have a vacumn sealer with the canisters? or freeze them? What do you ladies think? Thank you!

Alicia,

If you have any ethnic markets in your area you might try them for bulk spices as well. The price might be similar to mailorder. Just a thought.

Definitely freeze them. It will keep fresh for quite awhile.

I would vacuum seal them and then freeze them. Most herbs loose potency when the oils in them degrade so I don't think it would hurt them to freeze them- but I really have no idea :)
