We called it a pie die. don';t know why, but it sure makes yummy sandwiches and treats. Michele

Is a pie iron what you use when you are camping. It has 2 sides, you open it up, put a buttered slice of bread on one side, another piece of buttered bread on the other, then you put whatever filling you want on the inside. My girlfreind doesn't call it a pie iron. Can't remember what she does call it. They make pizza pockets, or smore pockets. Just was curious.
