Here it goes......... it is so simple.
Quick Sour Cream Pound Cake
1 box Butter cake mix ( any brand)
4 eggs
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. butter extract ( I use vanilla)
1/2 cup sugar
Mix cake mix and sugar; add eggs and oil. Mix well. Add sour cream and extract. Bake in lightly greased bundt pan at 350 for about 40-45 minutes depending on your oven. It could even take longer so keep your eye on it. Loosen from sides and center, let cool 10 minutes then flip out of pan onto serving plate.
My husband likes for me to glaze it, even though the recipe did not call for it. I just add my powdered sugar, extract, and a little water or milk to thin it out.
Enjoy!! I always make this when I have overnight guests and sometimes bring it to church dinners, it is always a hit and nice and moist. Another tip is, if you bake it a day ahead and let it sit overnight it is always moister.

Sour Cream Pound Cake

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 oz. sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir one third of the flour mixture into creamed mixture. Stir until blended. Add one-half the sour cream and blend. Repeat procedure, ending with dry ingredients. Pour one third of the batter into a greased bundt pan. Combine pecans, sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle one third of mixture onto the batter. Repeat with remaining batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 55 minutes. Cool one hour in pan. Invert.
