Posted - May 14 2007 : 06:18:13 AM This recipe is not for the faint of heart...this literally has a lb of butter in, but I am in total favor of treatin' yourself once in a while. AND if you make it for a family funtion, as my son did for Mother's Day, then everyone can have just a little!
Peanut Butter Bars
Melt 2 sticks of butter 2 Cups of smooth peanut butter
Mix 2 Cups graham cracker crumbs with 1 lb of confectioners sugar
Mix the 4 above ingredients thoroughly. Pat into a 10x15x1" jelly roll pan.
Topping Melt 2 sticks butter with 12 oz chocolate chips pour over patted mixture. Refrigerate until set.
Before cutting into bars remove mixture form refrigerator at least 15 minutes before you cut.
These do freeze well! Have fun and enjoy!
