Posted - Mar 01 2017 : 2:12:17 PM It's time to start signing up for MARCH Mail Art!
If this is your first time signing up for Mail Art, please visit the topic Farmgirl Mail Art to read our guidelines.
FOR MARCH, please leave a comment on this thread stating you'd like to join in. Sign-up is available through MARCH 15. If your comment appears after you've posted it, that means you're on the roster.
Let the theme be all things springtime, sunshine, and flower buds! And as always, if the theme is not right for you, feel free to do your own thing.
I will send an email with your partner to you on MARCH 16. Please send your Mail Art before MARCH 31.
I'd like to encourage everyone to post a comment on the current month's thread when you receive your mail art. And if you can, a picture is nice. We all love seeing the inspiring art! And a quick thanks lets your partner know you received your mail art.
A couple more things to keep in mind: 1. Traditionally, Mail Art has been "secret"; part of the fun is receiving a surprise package from a surprise partner. I would encourage you not to tell your partner who you are until a reasonable amount of time has passed for them to receive your art. 2. Please be sure to include enough postage for your Mail Art to reach its destination :)
If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I'm always delighted to help.
Happy Swapping and farm girl hugs!
MaryJane's daughter,

Posted - May 24 2017 : 08:34:51 AM What a creative way to use vintage ads! I have inherited a large box of 1950's Popular Mechanics, mostly water damaged, but still chock full of fun cut outs. I've been looking for ways to use them. Thanks for sharing Mary Jo! |
